What is 3D Lighting? |
Lighting is a vital part of creating Director 3D files. Without lighting nothing is visible! If lighting is not used properly, models can look flat. Therefore you should consider lighting as an important part of the design of a 3d world.
Director’s 3D engine supports ambient lights, point lights, round spots, and directional lights. As a general rule you should not change global ambient lighting from the default black unless absolutely necessary. In addition the creation of indirect lighting, (faux) radiosity, and shadows depends on properly thought out lighting. |
